I have known Mariah since I was about twelve years old. We were friends all through high school. She was the cool one who got her license before the rest of us and drove us around in her brown Buick. We had some fun times in that car! We were the two out of our group of friends who always wanted to get old black and white movies from Blockbuster, and everyone else thought we were grandmas. Well maybe we are…
It was fun to get back in touch with Mariah and it’s alway so great to see your friends so happy and in love. I had a great time with Steve and Mariah wandering around downtown Dallas.
We started out in front of the American Airlines Center, where these hockey fans will be Stars season ticket holders this year.
After that we just winged it and wandered around, which was lots of fun!
There was this random bench in front of an empty store that wasn’t bolted down – perfect!
We mozyed on over to the West End –
Once it got dark we did some night shots. This is my absolute fav from the whole shoot –
I love this one – it’s so them!

I am so in love with Christmas and SO in love with getting Christmas cards in the mail. I love to see how people’s families have changed, hear what people are doing, and see what kinds of cards people go to the trouble to create. That’s why I’m so excited to offer these beautiful press-printed cards to my clients this year! They start at $45 for 5×7 folded cards or $30 for 5×7 flat cards and come in several paper choices including *pearl* which is my favorite because it’s *shimmery* They were originally designed that the elements be black and white but all the swirls and curls can be any color you like! The cards themselves are customizable as well. If you like the front of one card, the middle of another and the back of another, I can put together just the card you want! What you are seeing are spreads. The first image in the spread is the front, the second two are the inside and the fourth is the back. Click on a card for a larger view.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot with my good friend Hannah, who has started a line of ‘pretty and nice handmade items’ starting with aprons. Her company name is Belle et Gentille which of course means pretty and nice in French. Take a look at her tres chic logo (click it to go to her Etsy site!)
We started out in my kitchen since it’s kinda retro. Here is Hannah modeling her own designs –
I love me some sassy red shoes!
Look at her! She makes me want to briefly consider cooking!
Next up we have Mary and Charity sporting mother/daughter matching aprons. Adorable!
I was making Hannah get in touch with her inner saucy lady. She’s working it!
Doesn’t every mother and daughter wash dishes like that? I know my mom and I did 😉
Check out Hannah’s aprons, they make fantastic wedding shower gifts!
